How to: 1.) Scroll down to find the version of the logo you need (i.e. spot color, process color, or black and white.) 2.) For best results, use the .eps version. Some programs won’t support all available formats, we have noted what we have tested. 3.) Right click on the file that you want,
and select “save target as…” and select a location
on your computer to save the file. B.) 1.) With the file you would like to put the art into open, (supports .jpeg, .tiff, .eps) 2.) From the top menu bar, select “Insert” which will open the menu, scroll down to “Picture” which will open up a sub-menu, select “From File” 3.) Use the dialog box that opens up to find and select the file you downloaded, and with it highlighted, click “Insert” 4.) The image will now be inserted in the document and can be moved as needed. Note: you can also drag an image file from file browser or desktop directly into an open word document.

C.) Excel. (tested using excel 2003) 1.) Open the file you would like to use the art in. (supports .jpeg, .tiff, .eps) 2.) From the top menu select “View” and from that menu select “Header and Footer” 3.) A dialog box will open, from that dialog box, select “Custom Header” 4.) Another dialog box will open. 5.) In this dialog you can select where you would like the logo to be placed (Left, Center, Right) 6.) After placing the cursor in the desired field, click on the insert image button (it has the sun and mountains) 7.) Use the dialog box that opens up to find and select the file you downloaded, and with it highlighted, click “Insert” 8.) Click “ok” on the open dialog boxes to close them. The logo should now be in the header of the spreadsheet. You can use the print preview under the “File” menu to check. D.) Wordperfect: (Tested using WordPerfect 12) With the file you would like to put the art into open; (supports .jpeg, .tiff, .eps, .ai) 1.) From the top menu bar, select “Insert” which will open the menu, scroll down to “Graphics” which will open up a sub-menu, select “From File” 2.) Use the dialog box that opens up to find and select the file you downloaded, and with it highlighted, click “Insert” 3.) The image will now be inserted in the document and can be moved as needed. Note: If you drag an image file from file browser or desktop directly into an open WordPerfect document it may not show up correctly. |
| Client is paying printer directly and is responsible for their results, the digital file from GDS is sold, “as is”. It is highly recommended that client obtain appropriate proofs from printer, before final printing, for their inspection and approval.
