Nick’s practice at Gaw Van Male has focused on mergers and acquisitions (including family business purchases and sales), equity and debt financings, general corporate matters and general business representation including entity formation and restructuring, buy-sell agreements and contract negotiation.
Nick has acted as lead counsel representing acquirers and sellers of companies in a variety of industries including the wine industry, food manufacturing industry and construction industry among others. He has also acted as lead counsel representing issuers of equity and debt securities, and investment groups purchasing equity and debt securities in various companies.
Nick works with the firm’s Estate Planning Group on business succession issues, including the transfer of family businesses to children, employees and third parties.
