After earning his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, Al received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley’s, Boalt Hall School of Law in 1989 where he externed for Associate Justice John A. Arguelles of the Supreme Court of California.
Al initially joined Gaw Van Male as a consultant, bringing to the Litigation and Advocacy Department his significant years of business and litigation experience, most notably serving as general counsel for a large Northern California lumber and hardware supplier. His practice areas will concentrate on commercial transactions and related matters, including mechanics’ liens, contracts, leases, land use as well as business labor/employment and general civil litigation.
Al resides in Fairfield, with his wife Heather, and their children. |
